A significant weather change is anticipated in Bihar, including the capital city Patna, after February 3, as a Western disturbance is forecasted to impact northwest India. Over the next 72 hours, most parts of the state, including Patna, are expected to experience a partly cloudy sky. On February 4-5, light rain is predicted in 23 cities, including Patna, with very dense fog anticipated in Terai areas and light fog in other regions.
The minimum temperature in Patna was recorded at 10.4 degrees Celsius, while Motihari registered the highest minimum temperature at 5.5 degrees Celsius. Except for Khagaria, all districts, including Patna, witnessed an increase in the maximum temperature, with Patna and Vaishali recording the highest at 26.5 degrees Celsius. Meteorologist SK Patel suggests that post February 5, the minimum temperature in the state is likely to remain around seven to nine degrees Celsius, potentially leading to a resurgence of cold conditions.
